- One automated message Polaris sends back to a customer. Your monthly limit (e.g. 5,000) counts these replies, not the customer's incoming messages. A customer can ask many questions in one chat; you only count the answers Polaris generates.
- Monthly Active Contacts (MAC)
- The number of different people who message your business in a month. Polaris doesn't charge per contact. It's unlimited (fair use), so you can talk to as many customers as you like. Many other tools bill you per contact; we don't.
- Knowledge Base (RAG)
- Polaris reads your website, PDFs and FAQs and answers from them, so replies match your real business, not generic AI guesses.
- Website auto-sync
- When you update your website, Polaris automatically refreshes what it knows, with no manual re-training.
- Fair use
- Normal business use is unlimited. The "fair use" note just lets us step in if there's clearly abnormal or automated abuse. It won't affect a real business.
